Specializations: Pain
The ability to withstand physical injury and pain. The pain isn’t ignored or reduced, but endured.

Melee Combat

Specializations: Axe, Baton/Club, Knife, Improvised Weapons, Polearms, Shield, Sword, Whips/Chains
The ability to attack, and defend effectively while armed with or while fighting against hand-to-hand weapons.

Special Ranged Combat
Relevant Stat: Combat Value
Specializations: One specific Special Attack (Offensive), One specific Special Attack (Defensive), One specific quality on a Special Attack (Defending against)
This skill is used for weapons created using the Special Attack Attribute (page 32) that emanate from the character’s body, rather than a device or weapon. This skill is also used to defend using these special attacks or against these special attacks.

Specializations: Sensors, Positioning, Weak-points, Reprogramming
The ability to attack, and defend effectively while armed with or while fighting against traps or security devices with different triggers.

Unarmed Combat
Relevant Stat: Combat Value
Specializations: Strikes, Holds, Throws, Grappling
The ability to attack, and defend effectively while left without a weapon or against a foe that doesn’t use a weapon.
